Knik River Lodge is looking for hard working, team oriented, adventurous individuals to join our company in the rural Alaskan wilderness. We offer an opportunity to live and work in a wilderness setting with adventure right out the back door. We’re located on the edge of the Chugach State Park, where wildlife is frequently observed on-site, and our closest neighbor is a giant glacier!

The lodge team is a tight knit community of about 20 people, usually ranging in age from 18 to 35, who tend to live by the work hard and play hard motto. With 20 hours of daylight in our summer months, there’s plenty of time to do both!

Our commitment to providing guests with as much locally sourced Alaska grown food and adventure requires us to be a resourceful and knowledgeable group.  We work closely with local farmers, brewers, and adventure operators to share Alaska with guests in all aspects of their visit. From the meals crafted and served in the Raven’s Perch restaurant, to the amenities in our cabins, or the selection of locally owned and guided tours offered by our local partners; the team at Knik River Lodge works hard to share the best Alaska has to offer.

Employment for our summer seasonal positions are from May through September. A variety of seasonal posts as housekeepers and servers, restaurant cooks, maintenance crew members, as well as front-desk/ customer service specialists are available. Summer management positions and year-round jobs are often filled by returning staff, but we encourage individuals with guest service and leadership experience to express interest.

Applicants who are available to commit for a full season of summer employment, May 15 through September 30, are given first preference.
